Cannabis Ban in Thailand. What's happening now?

Unveiling all the details about cannabis situation in Thailand and our store in particular in QA format from our customers

Hey fam! A few laws just changed in Thailand and we’ve been getting a lot of questions lately. We put together this quick Q&A to clear things up. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, here’s everything you need to know to stay safe and shop smart at our dispensary. Let’s get into it:

Q: Are you still open?

Of course! We’re open every day, bruh! Our shop is licensed and sells products sourced from GACP.

Q: Can I smoke in your Chill Room?

By the new law, you can only smoke at home. No public places. Our Chill Zone has to stop giving services for now.

Q: Do I need a prescription to buy cannabis from your store?

Yes, starting from July 27. All pharmacists must have a certificate from the Cannabis Training Program, which just happened on July 16. Only then will they be able to issue prescriptions.

Right now, no one is officially registered by the government.

Please do not believe anyone offering prescriptions for 500–1,000 THB — it’s likely a scam.

Also, you'll need to renew your prescription every month.

Q: How does the prescription work?

You can get one prescription per month.

You can buy a maximum of 30 grams per slip, one time.

Each slip is valid for 30 days only.

Example:

Doctor prescribes 5 g/day for 15 days = 75 g total.
Customer buys 10 g on day one. Those 10 g are sold — the remaining 65 g can’t be claimed later. You’ll need a new prescription.

Q: Can we buy edibles and extracted products?

Yes, but only if they are legal products from FDA-registered companies and contain less than 2% THC per package.

Hash & Wax are not allowed to be sold.

Q: Where can tourists get a prescription?

Tourists must see a doctor in Thailand to get a script.

A prescription from your home country won’t work here.

You’ll need to visit a licensed Thai physician before you can buy.

Once you’ve got the script, you can shop normally.

Q: Can a dispensary make prescriptions?

Your favorite shop may know doctors, but they can’t prescribe onsite.

Even loyal customers need a doctor-signed slip each time. But we're ready to help you with our good friend doctors to recognize your potency of having prescription

No prescription? No sale.
